Using Mobile Phone While Driving
Using a hand-held mobile phone or device while operating a motor vehicle.
Overspeeding
Driving above the prescribed speed limit for the road or vehicle class.
Jumping Red Light / Signal Violation
Crossing a red traffic light, stop line, or failing to obey traffic signals.
Dangerous / Reckless Driving
Driving in a manner that endangers others — wrong-side, reckless manoeuvring, racing.
Driving Without Valid Licence
Operating a vehicle without a valid driving licence, or driving a category not covered by your licence.
Driving Without Valid Insurance
Driving a vehicle without at least a valid third-party liability insurance policy.
Racing / Speed Trials on Public Roads
Participating in or organising a race or speed trial on a public road without authorisation.
No Helmet (Two-Wheeler)
Rider or pillion passenger on a two-wheeler not wearing a certified ISI-marked helmet.
Not Wearing Seatbelt
Driver or any passenger in a motor vehicle not wearing a seatbelt.
Driving Without Registration Certificate
Operating a vehicle that is not registered with the RTO, or driving without a valid RC.
No Valid PUC Certificate
Driving a vehicle without a valid Pollution Under Control (PUC) certificate.
Triple Riding on Two-Wheeler
Carrying more than one pillion passenger on a two-wheeler.
Underage Driving
A person below 18 years driving a motor vehicle on a public road.
Not Giving Way to Emergency Vehicles
Failing to yield to an ambulance, fire brigade, or police vehicle with active sirens and lights.
Overloading — Goods Vehicle
Carrying goods in excess of the registered Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW).
Overloading — Passenger Vehicle
Carrying more passengers than the vehicle's registered seating capacity.
Disobeying Traffic Authority / Police
Refusing to comply with lawful directions of a traffic police officer or authority.
Illegal Parking / Parking Violation
Parking in a prohibited area, blocking traffic, or on a footpath, bus stop, or fire hydrant.
Wrong-Side Driving / Driving Against Traffic Flow
Driving against the designated traffic flow on a one-way street, wrong lane of a divided road, or against an overtaking restriction.
Hit-and-Run / Fleeing the Scene of an Accident
Fleeing the scene of an accident without stopping to help or reporting it to the police — a criminal offence under Indian law.
