Telangana (RTO code TS, capital Hyderabad) centres its enforcement on Hyderabad, where the police-run "Hawk Eye" app lets citizens report traffic violations directly, feeding evidence into the e-challan system. Some penalties, such as overspeeding and red-light jumping, are applied across a range depending on the severity of the offence.
With both camera- and citizen-sourced challans common across the city, unpaid dues can accumulate quickly. The table below shows current Telangana fine amounts and the relevant MV Act section for each violation.
