1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the SignalPe website at signalpe.com and any associated applications, content, and services (collectively, the "Service").
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Nature of the Service
SignalPe is an independent road safety awareness platform. We publish educational content about Indian traffic rules, road signs, penalties under the Motor Vehicles Act, RTO information, national highways, expressways, and related topics.
SignalPe is not a government body, is not affiliated with the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH), Parivahan, VAHAN, any Regional Transport Office (RTO), or any traffic police department.
We do not issue documents, process challans, collect fines, register vehicles, or perform any official government function. Any tools we provide that link to or reference government portals are provided purely for your convenience.
3. Informational Use Only
All content on SignalPe is provided for general information and awareness purposes only. It does not constitute legal advice, official guidance, or a substitute for consulting the relevant authorities.
Traffic laws, fine amounts, and procedures change frequently and vary between states. While we make every effort to keep our information accurate and up to date, we do not guarantee that it is complete, current, or free from error.

4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
Use the Service in any way that violates any applicable Indian or international law or regulation
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service, its servers, or connected systems
Scrape, harvest, or systematically extract data from the Service using automated means without our written permission
Introduce any virus, malware, or malicious code, or otherwise interfere with the proper working of the Service
Reproduce, duplicate, copy, or resell any part of the Service in breach of these Terms
Use the Service to harass, defame, or infringe the rights of any person
5. Intellectual Property
The design, layout, original written content, graphics, and compilation of data on SignalPe are owned by or licensed to SignalPe and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Underlying facts — such as statutory penalty amounts, RTO codes, and highway details — are drawn from public government sources and are not claimed as our property. However, our specific selection, arrangement, wording, and presentation of that information are protected.
You may view, share links to, and reference our content for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not republish our original written content wholesale on another website without attribution and prior permission.
Trademarks, logos, and brand names referenced on the site are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification and informational purposes only.
6. Third-Party Links & Advertising
The Service contains links to third-party websites, including official government portals, that are not owned or controlled by SignalPe. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party site. Following such links is at your own risk.
We may display advertising served by third-party advertising networks, including Google AdSense. These networks may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. How advertising cookies are used is described in our Privacy Policy.
The presence of an advertisement does not imply endorsement by SignalPe of the advertised product or service. Any dealings you have with advertisers are solely between you and the advertiser.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SignalPe, its operators, and contributors from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service or your breach of these Terms.
9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
