A 168.9 km access-controlled ring road encircling Pune, built by MSRDC to divert through-traffic away from the city and link the Mumbai-Pune Expressway, the Samruddhi Mahamarg and the Pune-Bengaluru and Pune-Nashik corridors. Land acquisition passed 98% and heavy construction including tunnels and viaducts began in December 2024. The western section is targeted for late 2026 to mid-2027 and the eastern section for May 2028, having slipped from the original December 2026 deadline.
